The most important reasons for screed removals

Depending on the type of screed used, the lifespan is usually between 15-25 years. However, permanent environmental influences, moisture or heavy loads can have an unfavourable effect on your screed floor and bring about accelerated signs of wear. The consequences are inevitably cracks and fractures. The usefulness of the screed for heat and sound insulation, the compensation of irregularities, but also for protection against environmental influences is thus no longer guaranteed. However, the quality of the old screed can also mean a presumed reduced value for the installation of new floor coverings, as the entire construction structure of the floor is included in the evaluation when expecting the use of a floor.

In the case of severe screed damage, it is usually not possible to generate cost and benefit advantages, so that the removal of the old screed and installation of a new screed floor is the most economically efficient solution. Especially in the case of major water damage and the associated mould formation, screed removal is the final solution. The danger of asbestos in the screed, insulation material or floor coverings is also a clear reason for the professional removal and disposal of screed floors and floor coverings in accordance with the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances TRGS 519 BT-40.

Our solution for your screed removal & disposal

We carry out the deconstruction and dismantling work with modern demolition machines and an experienced team. The professional disposal and separation of construction waste is carried out in accordance with the legal requirements for hazardous waste and the corresponding disposal certificates. For the removal of asbestos-containing and viscoplastic materials on solid mineral substrates, we have the corresponding approval in accordance with the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances TRGS 519 BT-40. In addition, the client is obliged to notify the responsible authorities. After dismantling, we will also be happy to lay a new screed floor for you. The construction area is handed over swept clean and dust-free.
