PU floor coatings for screed and concrete floors.

Polyurethane coatings are suitable for concrete or screed floors in industry and commerce, which have a high level of public traffic, as well as for modern living spaces, outdoor areas such as balconies, terraces as well as stairs. The advantages of using PU coatings lie in the properties that the coating is light-resistant and impact sound-absorbing. The underlying screed or concrete floor also retains its own material properties. Another advantage lies in the simplified maintenance and cleaning requirements. Depending on requirements, polyurethane coatings can be laid very smoothly or, to ensure slip-resistant floor surfaces, they can also be textured by adding quartz sand. Polyurethane resin floors are less suitable for floor surfaces with particularly high mechanical abrasion.

Epoxy resin coating for screed and concrete floors

Epoxy resin coatings have very hard, durable properties and are therefore mainly applied to floor surfaces that are subject to particularly severe mechanical requirements. Due to their resilient properties, they reduce mechanical abrasion and any resulting dust generation. Epoxy resin coatings can meet these requirements for industrial and commercial surfaces that need to ensure a high level of slip resistance on wet floors. In addition to the particularly high load-bearing capacity, the advantages of epoxy resin floors lie in their resistance to water and chemicals, jointless installation and simplified cleaning. Due to the lower light resistance of epoxy resin coatings, they should generally not be used for outdoor areas.

Our solution for your epoxi floor coating

Depending on the initial situation, we first examine your screed or concrete base and prepare it using methods such as shot peening, milling/grinding to ensure an optimal floor coating. This procedure ensures on the one hand that after the professional application of the epoxy resin coating or polyurethane coating no bubbles form or dirt particles, into the laid out liquid measure.
